Telling Stories >> Life Makeovers

Life Makeovers by Cheryl Richardson, with the help of Oprah Winfrey, started a world-wide phenomenon. With the help of my friend, Ruth, we worked with ESRA-Israel to establish a Life Makeovers group in Tel Aviv. It was a great success.

The year long program featured about 40 members who attended regularly, following the chapters in the book and working in small groups with each other to keep on track and improve the quality of their lives and thinking.

Success in such a program is relative. You get out of it what you put into it. For some, it was entertaining and helped them meet new people and learn a little about themselves. For others, it was tremendous in changing their attitudes about themselves, seeing past self-imposed limits and getting past the obstacles that slowed or stopped them in their lives.

The program ended but still requests come in to continue such programs. If you are interested in a Life Makeover program, workshop or group, or into Life Coaching or any form of self improvement research, studies, or work, hopefully the essays within this section will help you.
