In reply to Linda Smith, the book by my great Aunt Fae is really about the decendents of Christian Huss. In the early part of the book, there is a brief history of Christian’s ancestors going back from his father Noah to Noah’s father John, the son of Johannes who came to the PA area in 1752 on the ship Forest. This book covers approximately 8 generations of my family and the only copies I know of are in the hands of the family.

Thanks if you come across the book on the huss family from chester pa let me know thanks. i guess there is a second book about the group of huss family memebers than went to iowa… i see your last name is vanfossen.. i have one vanfossen in my line out of belmont co. ohio.. thanks linda
